This painting is created from one photograph of a tree.
Today the world felt so sad to me, that I began to paint and after many hours, this is the painting that emerged. I think it is fascinating that the design revealed several early forms of peace symbols made from the branches of trees. It is as though the planet is wishing for peace, clean water, air and soil. I hope you find some beauty in this work, it is quite involved and contains many prayers in its creation.
This painting was completed early in the morning of Veterans Day, a day of prayer for all the humans and animals who have served our nation to protect our freedom. War destroys all parts of Creation, for everything and everyone on this planet is made from earth. Let us, together pray for peace, an end to domination and war, and begin the healing journey to whole for our dear Mother Earth and all her children.
