In life we encounter many storms and stormy experiences. It is always in our best interest to focus on the light, the time beyond the storm. Yes we may feel like we will fall to the depths of the ocean and not survive sometimes, but we are all much greater than we appear or imagine. This painting is to remind the viewer, there will be light again no matter how turbulent the sea may be. In time we will ride the waves into the light and calm once more.

I like the color of this work and the contrast between the waves of color help bring forth the image.It dose seem to remind me of a storm of some sort and perhaps some sort of sailing within said storm, it dose seem perhaps to capture the essence of that idea.
